  • Visions of Flowers. To Elaborate on a Story

Visions of Flowers is a product within the ‘Visions of…’ series. Visions of Flowers offers a pronounced floral pattern which is incorporated in the carpet tile design. When viewing the product across a larger area, it almost looks like a hard surface due to the flat nature of its structure.

  • Visions of Lines. Linear Elements in Architectural Design

Visions of Lines is a product within the ‘Visions of…’ series. Visions of Lines draws its inspiration from linear elements in monumental architectural design. It creates an almost abstruse play with material, dimension, and structure within ordered architectural patterns.

  • Visions of Shards. A Surprisingly Abstract Pattern

Visions of Shards is a product within the ‘Visions of…’ series. A surprisingly abstract pattern is what gives Visions of Shards its distinctive look. The construction of the product allows for an ever changing visual experience.

  • Wilton Enigma. Classical with a Contemporary Look

Wilton Enigma combines the classically elegant Wilton design with a refreshingly contemporary look. The rhythmic pattern of dots, lines and blocks draws its inspiration from the small, all-over patterns used in fashion.

  • Dash. An Exciting Sense of Movement

Dash is a carpet tile with a playful combination of geometric blocks and lines, which creates a commanding visual effect. This pattern adds an exciting sense of movement to a room and gives the space its own identity.

  • Grids. Subtle Structure to Modern Spaces

Large-scale, monumental patterns add subtle structure to large modern spaces. Grids is a carpet tile product which uses pattern to create a rhythmic, dynamic installation. The colour range consists of 16 tonal shades in a refined combination of matt and lustrous yarns.

  • Mosaic. Stained Glass translated into Flooring Design

Mosaic takes its inspiration from stained glass which is translated into a delicate flooring design where the surface is manipulated on different levels to create a three-dimensional look. Mosaic is a carpet tile, available in 16 colours; ranging from neutral shades to more expressive colours.

  • Hint. Interesting Layers

Hint has the ability to dose colour effectively, a bright blue for example is often too overwhelming on a floor. Hint gives colour subtlety, it does not appear obtrusive. Viewed from a distance, you only experience the uniform base colour. Seen in close up, however, the colour seems to light up beneath you. That’s the idea.

  • Flow. Back to Nature

This product reflects the current design trend of going back to nature. We wanted to create something with a natural feel and flowing lines. Like the deeply etched ground of a riverbed, for example. We were inspired by nature.

  • Libra Lines. Revolutionary Classic

The launch of Libra Lines in 2002 was a revolution. Originally available in six natural and grey shades, the product has been a huge success. At the time, it marked a new direction for Desso and also for our clients. In 2006, due to its initial success we decided to double the number of colours.

  • Halo. Colour as an Accent

Halo is the tile version of Hint. The architects loved the design in broadloom so much that we thought: why not try to make it in a carpet tile too? The significant difference is the regularity in the design: it’s impossible to retain that in the tile because it causes problems with the alignment of tiles. So we consciously incorporated irregularity into the line effect.

  • AirMaster®. Creative with Functionality

This functional innovation was primarily targeted towards the education sector. In particular, it had to be accessible for schools. So we adapted our use of colour. By taking into account the school environment and the impact colour has on our behaviour and mood.

  • Neo and Neo Core. The Art of Combining Colours

A well-known Desso product is Libra. For manufacturing Libra we use the space-dying technique, a special yarn technique which doesn't limit us to an existing range of colours. The unique aspect about this technique is that we can dye one yarn in a series of different colours. This is an option that we wanted to explore more. For the development of Neo this technique has been the starting point.

  • Flux. Subtle Elegance

We wanted to create a product with two different types of yarns, matt and gloss. That was the challenge. They certainly gave me strange looks in the dyeing studio! I’ll never forget it, the dye master looked at me in surprise and asked: “So you want two types of yarn in one product?!” That was a revolution in the world of yarns.

  • Scape. Statement with Structure

Scape is one of Desso’s stars. Whereas Pallas is ideal if you want to make a statement with colour, Scape does this with structure. We had already used structure in other products, but as an accent. In this product, structure is the main theme. We have now expanded the number of colours in the range to eighteen, varying from soft to stronger tones.

  • Palatino. Floor with a Statement

By revamping the colour bank, we wanted to update this classic product. The exciting thing about Palatino is that you can work with blocks of colour and really make a statement with the floor design.

  • Torso. Colours to Play With

Originally Torso came in thirty-six colours but because it is a standard product, we asked the question how could we distinguish ourselves with it? Through colour, of course! By increasing our wide array of colours available.

  • Tempra. Amazingly Adaptable

Tempra is amazingly adaptable. It suits any interior. With its characteristic colour pallete and Ecobase® backing, this commodity is totally distinguished.

  • The 501 of Desso

Pallas is a prime example of a practical and functional carpet. It was first introduced in the 1970s. 'What the 501 is for Levis, this product is for us’.

  • Twist. Luxury for Commercial Areas

Twist is one of the richest carpets in our collection. It incorporates a huge amount of yarn. This product evolved from the need to create a sense of luxury in offices. At the same time, people also wanted offices to feel more homely. With the two tonal colours incorporated within the carpet, Twist distinguishes itself from its rivals.

  • Verso. The Soft Answer to Hard Floors

Verso evolved from market demand for a harder, even floor with a soft appeal. Scandinavia is an example of a market which, compared with other countries, is less inclined to choose carpet. Therefore, this was our challenge: how to create a hard floor with the visual appeal of textile.

  • Sand and Sand Stripe. A perfectly streamlined floor

Our yarn supplier showed us a new type of yarn. The great thing about it is that it is very thin. Our challenge was to use it to create a carpet with a new and contemporary look. We wanted to offer a multipurpose product which the architect can play with; for example by combining it with furniture and the adjacent walls.
